03-26-08 My dream came true and my new friends at 2ND FLOOR EAST just created a skateboard with a drawing I made on it. There's a limited run of 51, featuring THIS PICTURE on them. The boards are made from 100% Canadian Hardrock maple, by a skater owned and operated manufacturer out of Wilmington, NC. Theyre 8"x31.5" and come with griptape. Boards are still being printed, but if you want one, you can find out about making a pre-order, or buying it later (you know, when theyre printed) HERE. 02-22-08 Ive recently learned that BAD HABITS, the illustrated novel I'm not done working on, is going to be out on SOFT SKULL in Fall of '08. Sweet. Nevertheless, I've made a few new drawings for some magazines and books, some of which I added to this page. A cover for WORST: A Quarterly Revue of Life Gone Awry and a cover for The Secret Life of White People, (by Sascha Scatter); both of which are currently unreleased, but will be released one day. Then theres a drawing for CROOKED HOOK, THE F-WORD, and a LEATHERFACE TRIBUTE album. Otherwise, check out a group show Ill be in on, in South Florida - The place of my birth & conception.

01-04-08 I just did some designs for GRAVE SKATEBOARDS. Check them out in the DRAWINGS. Im unsure as to when they'll exist to the public. However, check their webpage periodically because I will die if people were riding around on skateboards with my shit on them. Also, I did cover art for MY MOTHER WEARS COMBAT BOOTS: A Parenting Guide for the Rest of Us, a novel by Jessica Mills, a rad former Floridian; and the new catalog for SOUTH END PRESS.
Besides this, Im married to Bad Habits, my unfinished novel, and dont have much of a life besides that. Events around the northeast and other desirable regions are going to happen one day. Until then, I have yet to see sunlight.
11-15-07 Im taking part in some rad NY and CA events in the near future. One is part of THE BIG READ, an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts designed to restore reading to the center of American culture, where I will discuss another Latin author's work. Im excited for this event, considering the fact that Ive spent the last three weeks raging with my with head cut off. The other events are a benefit for ABC NO RIO, an art show at 924 GILMAN ST in Berkeley CA, and a reading with RHIANNON ARGO (Reunited from Sister Spit) Holler.

8-19-07 The In The Red/ Git Some Split 7" just came out on 1234 GO! Records- the bands are tight as hell and I drew the cover for that. You can check out the art on the DRAWINGS section, or you can buy the 7". Besides working on the Acid Chapter of BAD HABITS, my unfinished illustrated novel, Ive been churning out work for South End Press, Left Turn, Razorcake, The Fest, The Progressive, and a book called My Mother Wears Combat Boots written by the lovely Jessica Mills. The shit being invented for all this will appear on this webpage eventually.
